Cocoa Campus Power Issues Impacting Bldgs. 4, 5, 11 & 12: Due to power issues being addressed by Florida Power and Light, Buildings 4, 5, 11 & 12 are closed, and scheduled classes will be temporarily reassigned to alternate locations where possible on Tuesday, November 4. Facilities Planning & Construction

Facilities Planning and Construction is responsible for developing and implementing the long-range College facilities plan, including property acquisitions, new construction and major renovations.

In addition to project oversight, the office maintains the College's space database, which is required for reporting to the Florida Department of Education. This data is used to analyze space utilization to ensure maximum usage of campus space.

Responsibilities also include project document management, annual Capital Improvement Program reports and the completion and updating of a comprehensive five-year Educational Plant Survey.
