Academic Integrity

Any form of academic dishonesty is subject to the disciplinary actions set forth in the Student Code of Conduct. Cheating, plagiarism, or any other misrepresentation of work is prohibited. The EFSC Catalog has more details on the college's academic policies.

Academic Dishonesty Reporting

To more easily identify repeat offenders, EFSC has an internal system by which faculty members can report incidents of academic dishonesty. Consequences are as follows:

First Offense

The student will receive a warning letter from the Office of the Dean of Students.

Second Offense

The student will receive Notice of Charges per the Student Code of Conduct. Note that subsequent offenses will continue the Student Disciplinary Procedure. When warranted by severity, a first offense may lead to immediate charges usually reserved for a second offense.
